Aaron D. Swayne joined Secrest Wardle’s Grand Rapids office as an Associate in 2023. He is a member of the Firm’s Commercial and Business Law, Construction, Motor Vehicle Litigation, and Premises Liability practice groups.

Mr. Swayne graduated from the Western Michigan University Cooley Law School. He received his undergraduate degree from Grand Valley State University where he majored in Legal Studies and Criminal Justice. While earning his law degree, Aaron competed in mock trial events and was a Moot Court Competition Chairman.

Since earning his law degree, Mr. Swayne earned experience as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Allegan County. While attending law school, Aaron gained experience as a law clerk where he conducted legal research on complex personal injury matters and assisted in case preparation. Mr. Swayne is currently the Director of Operations for the Grand Rapids Junior Chamber of Commerce. Aaron is admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan and is an active member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Young Lawyers Section.
