The Land Use and Real Estate Practice Group is composed of attorneys who have accumulated years of knowledge and experience in successfully handling a vast array of real estate matters. The attorneys in this group specialize in preparing and negotiating the legal documentation for land transactions and closings, as well as litigating disputes when they arise.

One of the primary elements contributing to our success is that the attorneys in this group have the experience and wisdom to recognize that just as every piece of land is unique, so are each client's goals and desires with respect to their property. We start by carefully listening and thereby understanding each client's individual needs and objectives. Then we individually advise each client on developing and implementing a realistic plan to achieve those objectives.

Since Michigan has an abundance of lakes and waterways, the attorneys in this group have also developed a highly respected and much sought after sub-specialty in the area water/lake rights (also known as "riparian rights").
