For now, despite the uncertainty surrounding us, when a claim is presented to an insurer for business interruption, the starting point remains the one constant: the Policy. Insurers should pay careful attention to the facts underlying the claim given by the insured and the coverages included within the Policy. Each claim, as always, should be evaluated on its independent merits.
