He recently accepted a position as an Associate and is now a member of Secrest Wardle’s Appellate, Intellectual Property/Advertising Injury, Motor Vehicle Litigation, and Premises Liability Practice Groups. Mr. Kinzer earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan, his Master of Fine Arts from the University of Arkansas and his Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School in May of 2023. He attended law school on a full academic scholarship and served as the Symposium Editor of the Wayne Law Review.

 

While in law school, Mr. Kinzer gained experience working in the Municipal Law Department with the City of Detroit and as a Judicial Extern for Michigan Supreme Court Justice Richard H. Bernstein. Prior to Wayne, he had positions with Miller Canfield and the New York City Council.

 

David is admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan and is an active member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Negligence Law, Litigation, Appellate Practice, Insurance and Indemnity Law, and Young Lawyers Section.
