Mr. Simmons earned his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. While in law school, he was an Appellate Moot Court Board member. He competed in national competitions and was a member of the Appellate Moot Court Board team that won third best respondent brief at the 2013 Robert F. Wagner National Labor & Employment Law Competition. Additionally, he was named to Super Lawyers Magazine‘s list of Michigan Rising Stars in the area of Personal Injury General – Defense in 2019. Mr. Simmons is licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan and is an active member of the State Bar of Michigan.
