While in law school, she distinguished herself as a Lombard Leadership Fellow and a member of the Wayne Law Moot Court. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wayne State University. Admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2008, Ms. Carlson is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for Eastern District of Michigan.
