Areas of Focus

Since beginning his practice, Daniel T. Rizzo has focused on first- and third-party automobile litigation, including suits brought by medical providers, suits involving benefit termination, priority issues, declaratory actions, and cases involving the Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association.

Mr. Rizzo has had multiple successes in motions for summary disposition and trials.  Mr. Rizzo has obtained several favorable published decisions from the Michigan Court of Appeals, most notably Henry Ford Health System v Titan Insurance Company, 275 Mich App 643.

Daniel Rizzo graduated from Western Michigan University receiving a Bachelor of Arts in 1997. He attended University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and received his Juris Doctorate in 2000. He was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan in 2001. Mr. Rizzo is a member of the Macomb County Bar Association. He has received an AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell.

Daniel T. Rizzo regularly represents insurance companies and insureds in cases involving a variety of premises liability issues, including dog bites, slip-and-fall actions, property damage claims, and general negligence.  Mr. Rizzo has achieved successful results on numerous occasions obtaining complete dismissals of cases prior to trial.  Mr. Rizzo is currently accepting cases involving premises liability and is available any time to answer questions you may have.
