Daniel S. Schrode II is a seasoned litigator with over nine years of experience in civil and criminal matters. His areas of expertise include defending first and third party no-fault, premises liability, commercial and business law, and fraud cases. He is adept at navigating complex legal issues such as claims coverage, insurance order of priority, and subrogation rights. As a trial attorney, he has successfully represented clients in third-party auto, dog bite, and felony criminal cases, achieving positive results for his clients.
In 2019, Mr. Schrode joined Secrest Wardle as an active member of the Firm’s Commercial and Business Law, Construction, Environmental and Toxic Tort, Intellectual Property/Advertising Injury, Motor Vehicle Litigation, Premises Liability, Product Liability, and Trucking/Commercial Vehicle Litigation Practice Groups. He earned his Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law school, where he was a member of Wayne Law’s Business Law Society and received the Warrior Pro Bono Award for demonstrating a strong commitment to pro bono legal services for disadvantaged and elderly members of his community. Mr. Schrode also holds a Bachelor of Arts with a major in International Relations and minors in Political Economy and Business from James Madison College at Michigan State University.
