Michigan Court of Appeals Gives Lump of Coal to Holiday Event Attendee

In LeTourneau v The Edison Inst., Mich Ct App Docket No. 335740 (January 9, 2018), the Michigan Court of Appeals addressed the principles of negligence as it related to a premises liability claim and clarified that permitting a curb to exist on a premises did not present any type of negligence in the care or maintenance of the premises, even if obscured by darkness or large crowds.
