Lauren A. Sterrett specializes in defense litigation and has experience handling complex matters involving negligence claims, motor vehicle litigation, premises liability, and property damage claims. Ms. Sterrett has successfully defended both corporate and private clients through all phases of litigation, including trial, in the State of Michigan.
Ms. Sterrett completed her law degree at Michigan State University College of Law, graduating with Honors. While in law school, Ms. Sterrett was named to the Dean’s List for numerous semesters and served as Associate Articles Editor on the International Law Review. During that time, Ms. Sterrett authored the publication, Product Liability: Advancements in European Union Product Liability Law and a Comparison between the EU and U.S. Regime (23 Mich. St. Int’l L. Rev. 885 (2015).) Ms. Sterrett also earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees, with Honors, in History and Political Science, from the University of Michigan.
Lauren Sterrett was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2015 and subsequently admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Insurance and Indemnity Law, Litigation, and Negligence Law Sections.
Ms. Sterrett has been selected by her peers to Super Lawyers Magazine’s list of Michigan Super Lawyers, Rising Stars in the area of Personal Injury General – Defense in 2020, 2021, and 2023.
