Nathaniel D. Lazor joined Secrest Wardle’s Troy location as an Associate after passing the Bar Exam in 2025. He is a member of the Firm’s Commercial and Business Law, General Negligence, Motor Vehicle Litigation, Premises Liability, and Trucking/Commercial Vehicle Litigation practice groups.
Mr. Lazor earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management from the School of Kinesiology and a Business Minor from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Nathaniel went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law. While at Florida State, Nathaniel took on the role of Assistant Director for the Entertainment and Sport Law Society and was a participant in the Bankruptcy Clinic where he advised clients on the bankruptcy process and represented debtors in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Florida in reaffirmation hearings.
While in law school, Mr. Lazor worked as a law clerk at a Tallahassee firm and as a contracts intern for a government contractor. Nathaniel also spent some time as a legal intern for the Jacksonville Jaguars where he finalized contracts for corporate sponsorships, edited terms and conditions for waivers to shield the team from legal liability and amended contracts to extend deals between the Jaguars and entities wishing to continue partnership with an NFL franchise. Mr. Lazor is admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan, and he is a member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Young Lawyers section.
