Ryan D. Misiak joined Secrest Wardle’s Troy location as an Associate in 2022. He is a member of the Firm’s Motor Vehicle Litigation and Premises Liability practice groups.

Mr. Misiak earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and 3rd in his class.

Mr. Misiak received his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Mercyhurst University where he was the Assistant Captain of their Division 1 NCAA hockey team.

While in law school, Ryan worked as an extern to the Honorable Mark J. Plawecki of the 20th District Court where he gained insight into legal procedure through courtroom observation.

Mr. Misiak was a professional hockey player as a member of both the Utah Grizzlies and Rapid City Rush Hockey Teams.

Ryan is admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan and is an active member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Young Lawyers Section.
