Prosecutions and Code Enforcement

The attorneys in this subgroup appear daily in the district and circuit courts that service our municipal clients. We are charged with the enforcement of all building, zoning, criminal, traffic, and other ordinances and codes by misdemeanor, civil infraction, and/or injunctive proceedings in those courts. Collectively, we have successfully tried hundreds of jury and non-jury prosecution and code enforcement cases. In addition, our everyday focus in this specialty area ensures that we have not only the most current information necessary to achieve success on behalf of our municipalities, but a clear understanding of when changes in the law and the actions of the courts require a review of local ordinances or procedures.
